The 2024 Durango offers the fullest lineup in our data with 13 configurations spanning three engines and two drivetrains. The V6 trims (SXT, GT, and Citadel with V6) all share a 6,200 lb rating regardless of whether they are RWD or AWD. This flat rating across drivetrains is unusual; most vehicles lose capacity when adding AWD hardware.
The HEMI V8 appears in the Citadel, R/T, SRT 392, and Hellcat. Standard V8 trims pull 7,400 lbs in RWD and 7,200 lbs in AWD. The R/T with the Tow N Go package jumps to 8,700 lbs with a different axle ratio and enhanced cooling. The Tow N Go package is only available on the R/T in AWD, so the RWD R/T tops out at 7,400 lbs.
