2024 Ford Maverick Towing Capacity
Towing capacity for every 2024 Ford Maverick trim, sourced from Ford's official 2024 towing guide. Select your trim below to see exact specs.
The 2024 Maverick offers four configurations, all rated at either 2,000 or 4,000 lbs. The hybrid FWD, EcoBoost FWD, and EcoBoost AWD all top out at 2,000 lbs. Only the Tremor AWD with its 2.0L EcoBoost reaches 4,000 lbs thanks to upgraded cooling, a transmission oil cooler, and a tow hitch receiver that come standard with that package.
At 2,000 lbs, the base Maverick handles a small jet ski trailer, a lightweight utility trailer, or a compact teardrop camper. Do not plan to tow a standard travel trailer or a full-size boat with any non-Tremor Maverick. The GCWR of 5,935-6,085 lbs on those configurations does not leave enough margin once you account for passengers and cargo.
The Tremor at 4,000 lbs opens up mid-weight boats, larger utility trailers, and some lightweight travel trailers. The GCWR jumps to 8,085 lbs, which provides a much healthier margin. If you are buying a Maverick specifically because you need to tow, the Tremor is worth the price premium.
