2025 Jeep Wrangler Towing Capacity
Towing capacity for every 2025 Jeep Wrangler trim, sourced from Jeep's official 2025 towing guide. Select your trim below to see exact specs.
The 2025 Wrangler simplifies to eight configurations, down from 13 in 2024. The Rubicon 392 V8 is gone, and several duplicate axle-ratio variants have been consolidated. Towing ratings are largely unchanged: 3,500 lbs across the Sport and Sahara trims, with the Rubicon offering both 3,500 and 5,000 lb configurations depending on the tow package.
The 2.0L turbo four-cylinder remains available on the Sport, Sahara, and Rubicon. The turbo Rubicon with the tow package is the only sub-V6 configuration to reach 5,000 lbs, with a GCWR of 9,950 lbs. The V6 Rubicon at 5,000 lbs has a slightly higher GCWR of 10,300 lbs, reflecting the V6's different weight characteristics.
One notable change: the Rubicon 392's GCWR drops from 10,800 lbs in 2024 to 9,400 lbs on the comparable V6 Rubicon in 2025, but this comparison is not apples to apples since the V8 is gone entirely. For practical purposes, the 2025 Wrangler tows the same as the 2024 across all remaining configurations. If you need more than 3,500 lbs from a Wrangler, the Rubicon with the tow package is still the only path to 5,000 lbs.
